logosmalltranswb.pngWelcome to the Little Scratch Online Art Gallery

Who we are:
This gallery offers you the opportunity to both view and buy the work from a palette of respected international artists whose roots are based in the graffiti art form.  Over the years each artist, or group of artists, has progressed in their own unique direction creating art which goes beyond stereotyped labels of street art or urban art. No longer content to just express their views on walls, they now express their feelings and experiences through a diversity of mediums including paints, pens, photography, videos, sculptures, and even lightwriting. Such is the quality of their work many have shown their pieces in galleries all around the world.

What we do:
We support the artists at Little Scratch by promoting them, creating shows and selling their work.  Indeed, some of the work we sell is exclusive to Little Scratch. Artwork available includes silkscreen prints , giclee fine art prints (including photography) and one-off art pieces and sculptures . Books and vinyl toys can also be purchased  from time to time.  In addition to selling work on behalf of the artist, we also sell selected pieces from individual private collections. Not all art work is shown on line, so please contact us if you would like to see additional pieces.

Little Scratch hopes you enjoy the work displayed at this online gallery. Actual gallery shows will also be set up across Europe and dates will be made available via this website so keep your eyes peeled. You may also wish to subscribe to the monthly news letter. Finally, Little Scratch welcomes any thoughts or feedback, and can be contacted via the Online Assistant or by email

Rare Banksy and Os Gêmeos Works in Dreweatts’ October Urban Art Sale

Dreweatts 1759, the UK’s leading regional auctioneer, will hold its second sale dedicated exclusively to Urban Art at 6.30pm on Tuesday 14th October at Shoreditch Studios.  Following the success of its inaugural Urban Art sale in June, raising over £800,000, Dreweatts is sticking with the same formula of using the pulling power of the genre’s high profile artists together with a wide range of fresh work by less well-known names, many making their auction debuts.

The 105 lots being offered for sale will pre-view at Bristol’s Paintworks from 1st to 4th October and then be on view in Shoreditch From 10th October until the sale at 6.30pm on the 14th. Headlining the sale will be a number of original works by Banksy [most notably his first ‘vandalised oil’ executed in 2001 depicting a helicopter gunship stencilled over a classical oil of a genteel seaside panorama, estimated at £150,000-250,000] together with several canvasses by fellow Bristolian Nick Walker, London’s Adam Neate, Brazil’s Jose Parla and representations from the international duos Os Gêmeos and Faile; both recent participants in Tate Modern’s Summer Street Art exhibition.

The sale also features unique works by many of the movement’s best-known names and influences: Blek le Rat (France),  Titifreak (Brazil), Sweet Toof, Seen (USA), Antony Micallef, Paul Insect, Hush, Connor Harrington, Word to Mother, Jamie Reid (of Sex Pistols fame), Cyclops, Guy Denning, Futura2000, Ian Francis, Ron English, Duster, D*Face, Kelsey Brooks, Jeff Soto,  Mantis (South Africa), Anthony Lister (Australia) and Aiko (Japan ex Faile).

Of the primary works created specifically for the sale, London’s Dr D, Goldie and Eelus together with Bristol’s Mau Mau, Inkie, Jim Starr, Dicy, Dora, Rowdy and SPQR are making a return after Dreweatts’ June sale, and are being joined by auction virgins Ame72, CBloxx, Italy’s Dan, Germany’s Herakut, K-Guy, RYCA and David Walker.

Dreweatts’ head of Urban Art, Mary McCarthy, commented “We are pleased to be exhibiting such a wide range of primary and secondary works from the broadest spectrum of international street artists, many of whose original works are extraordinarily difficult to acquire. Dreweatts’ focus on authenticity promises both collectors and the viewing public a truly unique Urban Art experience and we again expect our new artists to establish noteworthy auction benchmarks.”

“Dreweatts has firmly embraced Urban Art as a mainstream component of the Contemporary Art market and with this second sale we seek to further broaden the representation of these artists’ works in both private and public collections.  Through close collaboration with a number of artists and their agents Dreweatts are effectively demonstrating the role that a modern auctioneer can play in the development of an artist’s career and market” noted Dreweatts’ chairman, Stephan Ludwig.
