logosmalltranswb.pngWelcome to the Little Scratch Online Art Gallery

Who we are:
This gallery offers you the opportunity to both view and buy the work from a palette of respected international artists whose roots are based in the graffiti art form.  Over the years each artist, or group of artists, has progressed in their own unique direction creating art which goes beyond stereotyped labels of street art or urban art. No longer content to just express their views on walls, they now express their feelings and experiences through a diversity of mediums including paints, pens, photography, videos, sculptures, and even lightwriting. Such is the quality of their work many have shown their pieces in galleries all around the world.

What we do:
We support the artists at Little Scratch by promoting them, creating shows and selling their work.  Indeed, some of the work we sell is exclusive to Little Scratch. Artwork available includes silkscreen prints , giclee fine art prints (including photography) and one-off art pieces and sculptures . Books and vinyl toys can also be purchased  from time to time.  In addition to selling work on behalf of the artist, we also sell selected pieces from individual private collections. Not all art work is shown on line, so please contact us if you would like to see additional pieces.

Little Scratch hopes you enjoy the work displayed at this online gallery. Actual gallery shows will also be set up across Europe and dates will be made available via this website so keep your eyes peeled. You may also wish to subscribe to the monthly news letter. Finally, Little Scratch welcomes any thoughts or feedback, and can be contacted via the Online Assistant or by email

ROCKET01

Rocket01 has been painting graffiti for 14 years in and around the Sheffield area of the UK and completed his first piece in 1994. He first became interested in graffiti through hip hop music when he would write out lines on paper during school lessons. But even prior to this he recalls catching the train with his mother and… “dashing past mad colours and twisted faces of graffiti painted on the track sides”. Although Rocket01 enjoys painting different types of graffiti, most of his pieces feature 3D letter forms and realistic imagery. He says “I don’t have any strong political views and I am not angry with society in any way, instead, my motivation to paint graffiti comes from inside myself, and reflects my emotions and day-to-day life; I just love painting graffiti.”

Rocket01 lives on the edge of the city in an area of natural beauty. So when painting he is looking out for dog walkers, cyclists, and horse riders instead of CCTV! His rural environment has meant that he has always been the only person painting in his town, an aspect he has grown to enjoy. However, it has also meant that there has been very little acceptance of graffiti or pubic murals and permission for legal walls is never granted, so instead Rockect01 paints out of public view in derelict buildings and places of neglect. He recalls “my graffiti started along an old derelict railway line which left a few walls for me to paint.”

Since that time Rocket01 has become part of the TPN crew, otherwise known as the ‘Trans Pennine Nomads’, who were founded by ‘Pryme of Burnely’. The Pennines are a ridge of small mountains that run up the backbone of England and the crew are represented in towns and cities throughout the Pennines. As such Rocket01 has become a regular traveller through this area, although his longer-term aim is to travel to Europe on a more frequent basis. Indeed, Rocket01 identifies his inspiration and style as coming from Europe, rather than New York, and that his desire is to create new work and learn new things alongside many other talented writes. “As a graffiti artist, it is important for me to be flexible and adaptable, you never know which surprise surface you may be painting next or who you’ll be painting with; but also important are my moods and feelings which are constantly moving and changing.”
